Marie - Camp Director

Hi, my name is Marie and I am the Camp Director at 4-H Camp Wyomoco. 2017 will mark my 22 nd summer at camp and my 8th year as Camp Director. Since I started at camp I have done almost every job including senior counselor, waterfront director, arts and crafts director, rocketry teacher, kitchen help, assistant health director, girls unit director, leadership director, program director and assistant director. Camp has made me the person I am today. I have a BS in Human Development with concentrations in Educational Psychology and Youth Development. I have a MS in Camp Administration and Leadership. I am an adjunct professor at UB and NCCC and hold instructor training certifications in Lifeguarding, WSI, CPR FPR, Wilderness First Aid, and several others. I am a mom of two boys who enjoyed camp for many years as campers, CITs, and staff. My hobbies are crafting, sewing, quilting, puzzles, kayaking, reading and chocolate. I can’t wait to see you all at camp for an amazing summer!

Boto is back! Hey all Boto here! Hoping you've all had a rocking year. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Collin. This is my 5th year living the life with my dream job here at camp! I am one of camp's Assistant directors, working on the nitty gritty of program. Any questions about any program or classes at camp? I'm your man. When camp is not around to entertain me, I love Snowboarding and designing small video games just for fun. I love monkeys, and attempting to beat the amount of fun I can have at camp each year. Can't wait to see you there!

Hey Everyone!! It is so exciting to be back for my 5th summer at camp! I just finished my senior year at SUNY Brockport and will be student teaching in the fall. I love everything about Camp Wyomoco, but my favorite things are hiking, archery, kayaking, and of course, anything with nature! Last summer I had an amazing time working in the Nature program here and I’ll be doing it all over again in 2017. During the year, I’m a student at SUNY Geneseo majoring in biology with a minor in Conflict Studies. I’m thinking about a doctorate in biology or going to graduate school for environmental law, but I’m not completely sure yet. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, taking care of my goats/alpaca, going to my family’s cottage, or hanging out with friends! I cannot wait for this summer to start! See you all very soon!

My name is Brooke Tillinghast, and I am from Chaffee, NY. I went to Pioneer High School and graduated this past spring. This will be my first year on camp staff, even though I have been a camper at Camp Wyomoco for 9 years. My hobbies include taking photos and doing any activity that keeps me busy and on my feet, like volunteering in my local fire department as an EMT. My future plans are to go to Alfred State in the fall to major in Graphic and Media Design. One thing I am looking forward to this summer is making new memories at camp and to have fun! Also to get an awesome tan! I hope to see everyone at camp this year!!!!
