Marie - Camp Director

Hi, my name is Marie and I am the Camp Director at 4-H Camp Wyomoco. 2020 will mark my 25th summer at camp and my 11th year as Camp Director. Since I started at camp I have done almost every job including senior counselor, waterfront director, arts and crafts director, rocketry teacher, kitchen help, assistant health director, girls unit director, leadership director, program director and assistant director. Camp has made me the person I am today. I have a BS in Human Development with concentrations in Educational Psychology and Youth Development. I have a MS in Camp Administration and Leadership. I am an adjunct professor at UB and NCCC and hold instructor training certifications in Lifeguarding, WSI, CPR FPR, Wilderness First Aid, and several others.  I also serve as a student mentor at Touro University in their Masters of Science Program. I am a mom of two boys who enjoyed camp for many years as campers, CITs, and staff. My hobbies are crafting, sewing, quilting, puzzles, kayaking, reading and chocolate. I can’t wait to see you all at camp for an amazing summer!
